Highland Police Chief and City Councilman Endorse Ramos For Supervisor

(SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA) – James Ramos announced receiving endorsements from Highland City Councilman John Timmer and Police Chief Dave Williams in his campaign for San Bernardino County’s Third District Supervisor today. Ramos has previously announced endorsements from the city of Highland that included Mayor Pro Tem Penny Lilburn, Councilman Sam Racadio and Councilwoman Jody Scott, earning him a super-majority of the Highland City Council.

“Highland needs someone on the board of supervisors who is committed to serving and knows the issues. That’s why I support James,” said Councilman John Timmer. “James knows the issues that voters care about such as jobs and public safety and he is committed to finding solutions to improve our community in those areas. There is no doubt he is the best candidate and that he will restore the faith in our government.”

Highland Police Chief Dave Williams added, “I’m supporting James because I know he will always be committed to keeping our communities safe. He understands the issues that our officers on the streets face and he will work to ensure that they have the resources they need to get the job done.”

James Ramos is a local small business owner and member of the San Bernardino Community College Board of Trustees. He also serves as a member of the State Board of Education, the first ever Native American to serve in that role. He holds a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from California State University San Bernardino and an MBA from the University of Redlands. James and his wife Terri have been married for 22 years and live in Highland with their four children.
