Congressman Jerry Lewis Endorses James Ramos for Supervisor

Highland — Today, James Ramos announced the endorsement of Congressman Jerry Lewis in his campaign for San Bernardino County Supervisor.

Congressman Lewis was elected to Congress in 1978, and currently represents California’s 41st Congressional District. The district covers most of San Bernardino County stretching from Apple Valley to Banning and east to the Arizona border.

In his endorsement, Congressman Lewis cited Ramos’ commitment to the community, “In these tough economic times, we need leaders to help get our communities back on the right track. Voters can trust that James Ramos will be a voice for them on the Board of Supervisors and that’s why I support him.”

“This is a big endorsement,” said Ramos. “I am honored to have my values and commitment to this county recognized by the Congressman. I look forward to working with him in the future to protect our schools and create jobs for our community.”

James Ramos is a member of the San Bernardino Community College Board of Trustees. He has also served as a member of the State Board of Education, the first ever Native American to serve in that role. He holds a BA in Business Accounting and Administration from California State University San Bernardino and an MBA from the University of Redlands. James and his wife Terri live in Highland with their four children.
